-So far it hadn't been so bad, sharing the gatehouse with Vishous wasn't his first choice but he had to admit...the meals and constant pampering from the doggen were boons. Now, as his boots thudded through the tunnel leading to the main house, he could not stop his stomach from rumbling at the thought of first meal. Stepping out into the brightness of the foyer, he looked around and listened. The lack of sound led him to believe he was early.
